I have found that she is faster than I am at getting words. The only reason

One minor drawback: With the letters turned upside down, the yellow plastic
is thin enough that you can tell which ones are red before turning them
over. I recommend leaving the tiles in the cloth apple sack and reaching
in without looking to draw new tiles instead of turning them upside down

If you were unlucky enough to feel the disappointment of opening up your RE5 CE and gazing upon the included micro Chirs Redfield figure, you were not alone. However, you can now redeem that mistake by picking up this incredible NECA figure.

The first line of RE5 figs included Chris, Sheva, and the Executioner majini. As you may know, NECA holds the majority of the videogame licenses and is one of the best in the industry in creating highly accurate, detailed figures for a mass production company. Their figures have gotten better by the year, and now they have released their most articualte figure yet. buy NECA

If you bought the RE4 figs, you knew they were pretty static and while they looked good and were solid, they didn't do much outside of their sculpt. Now Chris here can do all sorts of poses, and looks good doing all of them. The paint application is solid overall, although there is some spotty work, but noticed only up close. Unlike NECA's 12" figures, these won't break when you move them. They are a bit stiff out out of the box, but they loosen up in a few minutes. buy NECA

The figure iteself is sculpted very well and looks just like Chris. His machete is removable, and he comes with a shotgun and handgun. The uniform is nicely detailed, and the BSAA logo is awesome. The earpiece is also painted, and a nice touch, as is his stubble. Buy Bananagrams

Basically if you are a fan of the series, make sure to pick this one up. After a few months, NECA ceases production and the prices skyrocket, like in the case of the RE4 figs. When it comes to anticapated games for the Nintendo Wii, many of them have wanted one thing, Mario. It has been nearly a year though since the Wii was launched with The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess as the main attraction, but many die hard fans have been anxious for a game that has delivered the appeal of Super Mario 64 from Mario's hay day. Although Super Mario Sunshine was also a fun game for the Nintendo Gamecube, it just didn't deliver as well as the Nintendo 64 classic had proven. But, Mario has proven his strength earlier this year on the Wii with gems like Super Paper Mario & Mario Party 8 which both worked well as great buys for the Nintendo system, but this is the one that reaches to the stratosphere.

Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii, brings in the big guns, as Mario does whatever it takes to save Princess Toadstool a.k.a. Peach from the clutches of Bowser. This time around, Mario takes to the sky to help him in his quest. Along the way, Mario has to collect star bits, which can help him beat enemies and bosses of all kinds, from the classics like Thwomps and goombas, to bigger than life boss battles like a vulgar spider who shoots venom at you, and even a mecha robot that fires bullet bills at you from all different angles.

There are also a few new features here that Mario shines through as well in the game, like specialty suits like the bee suit, which transforms Mario into a bumble bee, that can make mario fly through the Honeycomb stage, where he can collect coins and stars from each of the levels. There is also the boo suit, where Mario can actually become the ghostly menace, Boo in the haunted house level to help him enter ghostly portals that Mario couldn't normally enter, but it also can make the other Boo ghosts quickly fall in love with Mario in the blink of an eye. There are also some returns of classic items to use as well like the Fire Flower, and a new ice flower that Mario could use to freeze his foes on ice.

The graphics in the game are absolutely breathtaking and appeal well to the Wii's eyes, while the music is simplistic and elequent to the ears of Mario fans, especially as he surfs the galaxy. The control is also very simple to manuver, and stays mainly relevant to the palms of the Wii remote and nunchucks' hands. You can also use the Wii remote to help you grapple onto trees and meteors that can help you launch from one platform to another, and you can also use to help you collect star bits, and perform new attacks like the spin move. There is also a new co-op mode where for the first time, two people can play, as you can use another player to help you collect star bits, to help you along your quest, and defeat tougher foes like a giant octopus in the lava, and even giant goombas that are beyond the heights of the world.

All in all, what I love about Super Mario Galaxy is that it is everything Wii owners have wanted in a great game, and more. It is a definite must buy for the Wii that is sure to bring a lot of excitement into die hard Mario fans. This is one game that really brings out the heart at being the best of what the Nintendo Wii has delivered, and that has still shown to die hard Mario fans of all ages. I absolutely recommend it as a great buy on a star-spectacular scale.

As others have said, a bit like Scrabble, without the board and points.

I read the negative reviews and simply cannot identify with their criticisms... particularly that adults won't like it. My husband and I LOOOVE to play against each other and get quite competitive - glancing at each other's words to ensure correct spelling and propriety, speeding up, reworking existing words... In fact, Buy Bananagrams we were introduced to this game by a group of older adults at a family summer camp. While the children played soccer, we sat at a table and raced to beat each other!

That said, my daughter loves the game, too, and she's learned quite a bit in playing. We always keep two dictionaries nearby - one that is current and Webster's 1812 - and if she has a question about a word, she asks and then uses it in a sentence.Buy Bananagrams There are always opportunities to learn, for all of us!

We got this game recently and have played it about 5 times and really like it. I like crosswords, but I can't stand Scrabble because of the interminable waiting for other players to take their turns, and the focus on using the high-point letters and high-point squares instead of just the making of words. Do you like Scrabble but get hung up trying to use those special point squares, are bummed when someone "steals your spot", or dragged down by Debbie Dictionary ("just let me look up this one word") or Slow Joe (who takes 20 minutes for each turn)? The primary, and best, addition in this 4th edition of Settlers is a very nice interlocking border which is placed around the game tiles. This replaces the individual hex tiles of previous editions. No longer will your tiles/pieces scatter/split apart when someone accidentally bumps the playing surface! One side of the border has the ports "built in" but you still get a bit of randomness when assembling the pieces. The flip side of the border is blank "sea" on which you can put the included port tokens for a truly random placement.

The updated graphics are nice and colorful but take a bit of getting use to if you regularly play with an older edition.

The box has a vacu-formed type insert designed to hold all the pieces and keep everything neat.

All-in-all a nice upgrade to the 3rd edition.

It's a simple sounding premise: You gather resources in order to build roads and settlements to earn points.

However, there is a wonderful randomness which lends complexity to the game as the layout of the game board tiles differs with each play right down to the number on the dice needed to harvest a resource from a given tile.best buy mayfair This makes *every* game unique. Strategy comes into play as you must determine the best location for your settlements and roads to get maximum value/points.

If you've never played Settlers, find someone who has a copy and give it a try. If no one you know owns a copy, go to your local comic shop. Odds are someone there will have a copy readily available and delight in teaching the game to a new player! Once you play , you might not want to go back to regular wii sports. Sure, it has the original golf and bowling that you got used to, but there's so much more. When you start the game, you're already playing. You're skydiving and you'll be able to move your person, and link with other skydivers (which later, you'll find out has an actual goal). The game comes with Wii Motion Plus, which has to be used to play the game. So, if you're playing with someone else, you can either share the wiimote (which probably isn't as fun), or you can shell out an additional 20 bucks to buy one for a separate controller. Most of the games require a certain technique which determines how skillful you are in the game. The controls are a little more intuitive. It doesn't feel like an expansion to wii sports, but rather an entirely different game. If you like wii sports, you'll definitely like this one!

This game is great! I can't get enough of table tennis, frisbee and archery. My kids can't stop wake boarding and flying over the island. In real life I'm a pretty good table tennis player and can have a fun time playing with my kids. However when we use paddles and balls it's about family togetherness rather than an actual 'game'. At some point that may change but for now the Wii actually beats real life. My daughter and I show no mercy and are pretty evenly matched. It's accurate enough with slices and topspin to keep me happy and forgiving enough to keep her happy. We use the motionplus controllers.

I loved the original Wii Sports so I was looking forward to getting Resort. This game is incredibly fun, especially if played with friends or family. Resort comes with 12 games. I personally loved sword-fighting, archery, and table tennis. There are some games like basketball and cycling that is forgettable. Overall this game is really fun and does a great job showing the potential of the new Motion-Plus peripheral. This game is also very accessible and anyone can play. I even got my parents to play the game and we had a blast. This game, however, lacks depth and after a while may get boring if played alone. But if played with other people, there are few games that come close to be as fun as Resort.

Wii Sports Resort is set in a beach resort on an island called Wuhu Island[6], which is also featured in Wii Fit, where twelve different sports are available to play. Like the original, the sports are each played by holding the Wii Remote (and in some cases, the Nunchuk) in a manner similar to the actual sport being replicated. For example, in Archery, the player holds the Wii Remote vertically to hold the bow, and pulls back the Nunchuk to pull back the bow's string.
